About Lagma
Field experts deserve intelligent tools
Every year, experts inspect tens of millions of properties to make our buildings safer and greener. We give them technology and intelligence that make their work faster and more faithful to what they see on site.
Why we created Lagma.
The energy performance certificate is no longer a formality. Banks use its rating to set mortgage rates, and buyers use it to estimate their bills. The rating must reflect the building’s actual condition: every data point matters, and every data point needs evidence.
Demand is rising too. National laws implementing European targets make the certificate mandatory and will require a minimum rating, with penalties for non-compliance.
Yet for every hour on site, inspectors still spend two hours at their desks. We created Lagma because these experts deserve better tools: more reliable certificates, delivered faster, and more time on site and advising clients.
Our conviction.
Experts should spend as much time as possible on site, away from their desks. Lagma handles repetitive work: capturing data, checking it and finding evidence to prepare a traceable report. The final judgement stays with the inspector, who reviews and signs.
Why now.
Europe must reach climate neutrality by 2050. Buildings account for around 40% of its energy use, and none can be improved without first being assessed.
That is the role of the energy performance certificate, or EPC, introduced over 20 years ago. Yet only a small share of Europe’s building stock is certified today. And because every certificate must be renewed, the volume will keep growing.
To keep up, inspectors need to issue far more certificates each year. They need tools built for that volume. That is where Lagma comes in.
